Alexandra Velella
MY STORY

I’m Alexandra Velella and I’m running for New York State Assembly in the 110th District. I was born and raised in the Capital Region, I’m a NYS certified teacher and practicing attorney, and after completing law school and beginning my career in New York City, I came home to find that my beautiful, thriving community was struggling, and I knew I needed to help.

MY PRIORITIES

I will implement common sense solutions to problems that are negatively impacting all New Yorkers, and I’ll keep our community safe by supporting Law enforcement, being tough on crime & repealing bail reform, discovery reform and clean slate legislations.
 – I’ll make sure that you can afford to put food on your table and gas in your car.
 – I’ll make it possible for you to pay for daycare, save for college tuition and care for your elderly loved ones.
– I’ll ensure that you have a choice & a voice when it comes to your child’s education.

MY PURPOSE

President Ronald Reagan once said that we’re told we have to choose between a left or right, but in reality that there’s only an up or down. He was right, and my purpose has never been more clear. I want to help New York State and the 110th District move upward by bringing fresh new ideas into old, outdated, ineffective Albany. I represent a new generation of political leaders whose only intention is to serve the people.

MY PROMISE

My promise to you is simple—I will work every day to solve the problems that have been created by entrenched career politicians who have given up on us. I vow to be your advocate in Albany, to create solutions that will bring REAL and POSITIVE change to your life, and make it possible for you to live free, be prosperous, and to pursue any kind of happiness you choose.
